Kind of along similar lines to 3/ but were the team refunds all bonus points but NO cash, it can then be resold to team members only for full bonus points and an "admin charge" of say 50% of total eq value. Basically allowing players to trade items within a team but at a cash cost to the player both selling and buying the item.

I Actually like this Idea more than The Rest, The stuff I got Sucked and I'd rather let another player on my Team get em....

Or just Make some Equipment Market where u can Sell Non-FP Equipment....

i personally hate the equipment as it is now

there is no way that it is worth more than the normal equipment

its painfully obvious that you should be able to add adv eq to the normal equipment that it is kind of sad that Bort didnt just do that instead

there is no way to possibly justify using this equipment over what we have now...not even close

pathetic upgrade unless thats changed imo

.....i think we should be able to buy already upgraded equipment if your above 8/16/24/32. Then higher level players will start using it a lot more.

its just not even close to me

it just seems so logical imo that adv equipment should be separate...not one or the other

it just baffles me that theres even an argument on this topic...

i just went to the equipment store again just to check it out to see if i was wrong but nope...not even remotely close...this is pathetic

3 pieces of equipment

1) +1 Head Fake SA
2) +1 Blitz SA
3) Break Block chance 2%

this is for a lvl 24 LB, are those even close to the +4 bonus i have on normal equipment...no, not even in the same league

that said, the +1 Blitz would be interesting if i could add it on to something...but to have it replace +4 on something...thats just bloody ignorant

why don't you morons get it? you're not supposed to open the store the first time and see three items that are all better than normal equipment, items that are clear upgrades to lvl 24 and 32 equipment are supposed to be rare, not common. so if you aren't lucky enough to find some great new advanced equipment you just keep using the normal stuff like nothing has changed and stfu.

First off. Hostility not necessary.

Second Off, why this present system is a problem to higher level players is the following.

New People, getting their first piece of advanced equipment at Level 4 will be able to 'level' it normally, so that when they are level 32+ it is worthwhile and a great piece of equipment.

Players Level 32+ (or 24, or even 16) purchasing the advanced equipment are screwed as it takes them significantly longer to get the equipment up to snuff. ADDITIONALLY it costs them _more_ because they likely have already paid high amounts of dollars for their basic equipment that they would not have had to pay if they had been able to buy the advanced stuff at 4th level like the new players.

Thus, peoples desire to see the system changed so that its initial implementation is worthwhile for high level players. Being able to merge their present basic equipment even at 50% its stat values is not really worth it. Being able to sell off your present equipment at a FULL refund AND being given a stockpile of bonus points equal to their entire previous full seasons worth of training would allow them then to buy the 'advanced' equipment and put it to use.

As it is presently, its a downgrade for them and to make it worthwhile will take them far longer than if they had been able to buy the equipment from the beginning.

which part of "not every piece of new advanced equipment is supposed to be an upgrade over normal equipment" don't you understand?

Ooh, internet tough guy.

What part of 'even the pieces that would be an upgrade are not an upgrade' do you not understand?

The problem many are facing is that for them to upgrade the pieces, per the current system, getting advanced equipment at a higher level is not worth it. Getting it at first level is.

My first level players have found some really good stuff. If they use this stuff and advance it as per the present system, it will be great equipment.

Even a piece of equipment with + to a stat, + an SA And +% to some ability... which is a really nice piece of equipment, is unusable to a high level player as to get it worth anything requires 20 days of training (to earn 10 bonus tokens. And then they can upgrade it, then another 20 days of training, etc.

If veterans are given the benefit of a one time stockpile of Bonus Tokens to account for the new system implementation, then this works out.

Problem with that is, they could turn around and use that stockpile to buy SP's at 4 a pop.

So people are asking questions and trying to come up with a workable compromise that makes the present system worthwhile to a veteran player.

But you can insist on swinging your penis about and acting tough.

i really don't think you fully understand the "internet tough guy" concept, what exactly about what i said qualified as "acting tough"?

I have as well noticed that the advanced equipment doesn't really seem to be level appropriate; or do you have to use more shoppinf tokens to get higher level equipment?

That's not how it works...but equipment upgrades should cost shopping, not bonus, tokens. Say 8 shopping tokens to upgrade level 1 advanced equipment to level 8 (+1 SA or skill or stat) once YOU hit level 8.

Something along those lines...as spending 10 bonus tokens to get a +1 seems completely foolish to me...the way the equipment works right now.

As long as there is a change to make this work, be it...

1. Crafting the new items into old items for the cost of 8-10 bonus tokens + cash (max 1 advanced item crafted into each spot -- future upgrades of crafted items cost $$$ only, but cost is based on strength of item now).

2. Adding in an "advanced equipment slot" next to each regular equipment slot where you can place your advanced item -- can only be upgraded with bonus tokens + cash, max 4 items.

3. Adding in a 6th equipment slot specifically for advanced equipment where you can craft up to 4 advanced items together at the cost of BT's + cash. If you put together the same "colour" of item as a 4-piece set, there is a random bonus assigned that would be position appropriate and could be a small bonus to a big bonus.

4. Keeping it status quo where advanced items must replace normal items. Advanced items cost cash to purchase and each upgrade costs cash + BT's. But the piece gets a full upgrade (i.e. original piece is +1 attribute, +1 SA). Every upgrade gives you +1 of that attribute and +1 of that SA. Veterans should get 5 bonus tokens for each season played to put towards the items so they actually can be used instead of normal items. Cost of upgrading between 8-10 BT's + cash so that you need to think about how many pieces you want to be advanced vs. normal.

I'm sure I missed some of the other ideas, but as long as something is decided by the time people have 8 bonus tokens (which has been widely discussed as a more appropriate number -- would allow full intense trainers to upgrade 2 pieces per season) I think we'll be just fine.
