So,7% in the preseason in USAPL when noone is trying and people are experimenting with tactics....Seems like a good # to me. I bet that would drop a percent in the regular season.

Is it really really difficult to build any of the standard positions? Is it difficult to pump throwing to 73, then get random other attributes to 60-68? Is it tough to pump Strength to 73, then load up on Power Through?

Meh, my OT got hit up pretty good in a preseason game (was responsible for at least 3 sacks). Good DEs > Good OTs. We keep avoiding a good balance w/ the O-Line/D-Line. Finding a middle ground is tough.

You're missing the point.

DEs shouldn't have been nerfed in the first place. They were nerfed, because people bitched and bitched, and Bort finally gave in.

The only reason that DE owners have been bitching - is because it was impossible to do anything against even average OTs.

I would say that a great majority of the whining that goes on is the players own fault.
But there comes a point, after numerous tests are done (some official, even!) that show prior to this season the D-Line needed to outlevel the O-Line by literally somewhere in the triple digits to achieve any sort of significant pressure, where there's not a whole lot you can do on your own to fix things.

not what i meant. the only time ive ever bitched on here is when bort crucified my speed back. other than that my players do well every season. a good mix of strength, agility and speed are crucial for almost every position. the guys that bitch are the ones that try to reinvent the wheel and fail when bort nerfs em.

yep, because my back was built correctly. the guys that whine have 1 attribute to the max, like speed or agility, then get pissed when he doesnt "work" anymore.
